After last update to “DSM 5.1-5021 Update 2” my DS1512+ started to greet me with “system is getting ready” and it was like that for about 1 hour or so. So first what I did was to reboot it (via ssh “reboot”).
But that didn’t help. After some more looking around the system, there was no indication that something is really wrong. So I started looking at the processes, and I found this “/usr/syno/bin/synopkg onoffall start” seems like something that shouldn’t be running all the time after killing it, it finally allowed me to log in. Later will check if it will be happening after a reboot again. For now just for those that got stuck (and have ssh enabled).
